Chelsea cruised into the UEFA Conference League final with a commanding aggregate win over Swedish side Djurgarden. Chesea wrapped up the tie with a 1-0 second-leg victory at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night.

Despite making 10 changes from the side that beat Premier League champions Liverpool, Enzo Maresca’s team showed no signs of letting up. Already leading 4-1 from the first leg in Sweden, the Blues extended their advantage as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall calmly slotted home from the edge of the box after being neatly teed up by Tyrique George. The match also saw 16-year-old Reggie Walsh make his senior debut.

The stage is set for a thrilling conclusion to the 2024/25 UEFA Europa Conference League as English giants Chelsea will take on Spanish side Real Betis in this season’s final.

Chelsea will aim to become the first team in history to win all four major UEFA club knockout competitions. The Blues have already won two UEFA Champions League titles, two UEFA Europa League trophies, and are two-time UEFA Cup winners.

Real Betis defeated Fiorentina 4-3 on aggregate after extra-time in the other semifinal. Notably, the Seville-based club had never gone beyond the Round of 16 in any European competition before this year’s remarkable campaign.
