The Charlotte Hornets will come into this game after a 32-point loss against the Atlanta Hawks in another disappointing two-way outing. They have now lost five games with a difference of 30+ points in a month, summing up their performances for the past two seasons. They have played some decent defense regularly but the string of sub-par offensive outings has taken some discipline out of their defense too. The Hornets have scored 105.7 points per game(3rd worst), on a 42.8% shooting clip (worst). One huge reason for their offensive downturn has been the inconsistent play of LaMelo Ball. Earlier he scored 30+ on a high clip but nowadays he has struggled going past 20 on poor shooting splits. Overall, the Hornets will pray for the #1 pick in the 2025 draft to draft Cooper Flagg, who can bring the much-needed change in the scenery.

However, exhaustion is piling up for a unit that has logged a bunch of minutes, thus, they will need to find a better balance for long-term success.
