“Clickbait”- Carlos Sainz Hits Back For Misusing His Words About Ferrari!

Carlos Sainz furious at popular Italian media for twisting his words

Carlos Sainz recently appeared in the High Performance Podcast. The former Ferrari driver gave an interview about his time at the Maranello outfit and his exit from the team. Sainz found himself out of Ferrari after the 2024 season. He signed a multi-year deal with Williams F1 in the 2025 season. Carlos Sainz had a lot to say about the drivers and his former team in the high-performance podcast.

In one section- Carlos Sainz also recounted his thoughts regarding his replacement. While Sainz discussed the idea of how an egoistic driver would want to break apart the team, he stayed professional and helped them win. Unfortunately, some media houses took his comments out of proportions and labelled him as a perpetrator for chaos in the team. The Spaniard did not like these rumours, letting out his anger in the comments of a well known site.

Carlos Sainz Labels Popular Site as Clickbait for Misuse of His Words

Popular Italian media- La Gazzetta dello Sport published an article about Carlos Sainz recently. They twisted his words about an egoistic driver breaking the team apart. Instead, the site reportedly took his interview out of context with the headline- “I could have torn the team apart in 2024.”

The entire title is disgracefully pointing finger at Carlos Sainz. According to their title, it seems that Sainz was plotting to create chaos in the team after his exit in 2024. The Spaniard took to their comment section on Instagram to express his resentment about the same.

Sainz did not mince his words calling out the site for their clickbait article. He earned the support of fans in the comment section who agreed that his words were being blown out of proportions. The site has not issued any clarifications or apologies regarding the same to Carlos Sainz.

It is worth nothing that La Gazzetta dello Sport added his actual lines in the next slide. It contradicts their claim about Sainz trying to break apart his former team. Nevertheless, we are yet to receive any official statement from Carlos or Ferrari regarding this fiasco.
