Carlos Alcaraz is set to face talented German Daniel Altmaier in a high stakes Monte Carlo Masters 2025 Round of 16 encounter on Thursday. Both players came through thrilling three set tussles in their Round-2 matches, setting up this blockbuster meeting in the process. The winner earns a spot in the quarterfinal – to face either Andrey Rublev or Arthur Fils.

After shrugging off some early tournament blues, Carlos Alcaraz overcame the Francisco Cerundolo challenge on Wednesday.
