The Golden State Warriors (27-26) recorded a 125-111 win over the Milwaukee Bucks (28-24) on Monday, Feb. 10. It was the Warriors’ second win in a row, as they headed into the game on the back of a big 132-111 victory over the Bulls.
Stephen Curry once again put up a powerful performance, and scored 38 points with six rebounds and four assists to guide the side to another win. Jimmy Butler, who was traded to the Warriors in a surprising deal from the Miami Heat, played his second game in the Warriors’ jersey.
Butler had a bittersweet end to his six-season long stay at the Heat, and he came up with 20 points, nine rebounds and six assists on Monday night. He had four steals. Butler also became the only third player in the history of the franchise to record 40+ points, over ten rebounds, 10+ assists in their first two games after Kevin Durant and Guy Rodgers.
The 35-year-old made his debut against the Warriors’ win over the Bulls. Having complete dominance over the court, he had scored 25 points, two rebounds and four assists.

In Monday night’s game, Moses Moody scored 13 points, while Buddy Hield had 16 points for the Warriors. On the Bucks’ side, Damian Lillard tied with Curry with 38 points. Kyle Kuzma scored 21 points while Taurean Prince chipped in 19 points.
The Warriors will now be up against the Mavericks in their next game on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
