Last August, fight fans got excited when the UFC announced they had signed Aleksandre Topuria. While some might dismiss this as the UFC trying to capitalize on his brother’s success, Aleksandre’s record tells a different story.
With five wins and one loss under his belt, he has proven he’s no mere hype rider. His only setback came way back in 2015, and since then, he’s been on a tear with three straight victories.

Now, fans finally have details about his UFC bantamweight debut. Aleksandre Topuria is set to step into the octagon at UFC 312 on February 9 in Sydney, Australia. His opponent is the hometown favorite, Cody Haddon, who’s fresh off a successful UFC debut in October.
Following in his younger UFC champion brother’s footsteps can’t be easy. But ‘El Cazador’ seems to be taking it in stride. He recently mentioned being disappointed about not debuting in 2024, but good things come to those who wait!
