The British Grand Prix is going to be underway at Silverstone circuit this Sunday from 3:00 PM track time. The race is going to be an exciting event due to the overwhelming fan following of the home heroes. Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are leading as the favorite British drivers to claim the victory in the race. After an intense qualifying session yesterday, Max Verstappen won pole position.
The Betting Odds for the race as of today have been updated on BetMGM. The clear favorite for winning the race this weekend is Max Verstappen. The Dutchman pulled off a near impossible lap time yesterday with two fastest sectors. Furthermore, he was rather confident about the upcoming race during his post-qualifying interviews. Verstappen’s biggest threats are the McLarens starting behind. George Russell is starting on the second row with fellow Brit Lando Norris. The Mercedes driver will be looking forward to yet another podium and solidify his contract chances.
According to the odds available on BetMGM, the top-3 order is likely to remain unchanged. We believe that the podium positions for the race will be divided between the McLarens and Max Verstappen. There is no doubt that McLaren is the fastest car on track. To top it off, Ferrari have found a lot of positives during their qualifying and practice sessions yesterday.
The biggest game changer for today’s race in Max Verstappen’s pole position. The Dutchman is arguably the strongest driver when it comes to defending from pole. His usual troubles with his Red Bull were also getting less and less highlighted in the qualifying laps. The Ferraris may be fast but their drivers lack the consistency to displace the front-runners from the podium. Ferrari can count on the fact that their drivers will end up finishing in the top-6. The odds for Ferrari finishing in the top-6 are -325 according to BetMGM.

Lando Norris will have to attack his teammate once again starting from second row. The odds are currently in favor of Oscar Piastri owing to his better performance in qualifying session yesterday. Further down the grid, the top-10 is currently hustling with chaos due to the number challengers trying to finish in points. Some of the weaker cars like Aston Martin and Alpine will lose positions and may not end up finishing in points. The Williams cars started the season on a high note but they won’t be able to claim any points this weekend.
A driver to lookout for in the points finish for today will be Oliver Bearman. The young rookie was P8 in the qualifying session yesterday. Even though he starts the race in P18 due to his penalty, there’s a high chance that he will make some good overtakes and bring his team well deserved points in Silverstone. Isack Hadjar is another driver who will face disappointment this weekend. Hadjar is not starting in the top-10 and the drivers ahead of him are much faster that him all weekend.

Here are the themes to watch out for in the British Grand Prix 👇#F1 #BritishGP https://t.co/SmEfhEGyLQ
Yesterday’s session is the prime example for supporting Max Verstappen in today’s race. We predict that Max Verstappen will the race winner this weekend. Red Bull Racing have managed to give a car with the required balance for today’s race. Lando Norris will end up overtaking Oscar Piastri and take P2. Piastri is going to lead the race but at the end he will only get a podium. As visible in the previous weekends, the McLaren driver does not take unnecessary risks as he comfortably leading the championship.

I love helping people explore new ideas about Motorsports and obviously get recognised as a writer all over the world.
