Bradyn Swinson NFL Draft Projection- Where Will the Tigers Defensive End Land?

Eric Divakaran

Bradyn Swinson took some time to bloom, but he recently had his breakout season with LSU, in his final year of college. He was projected to go higher in the NFL Draft, somewhere between second or third round, but it has been a surprise that no team has picked him so far. In 2024 was ranked second in pass rushes with a pressure for top edges in the draft with 20.1 %. At 6 feet 3 inches, Swinson has every trait needed, that a team could seek out of a edge rusher.

He started his college football career with the Oregon Ducks, playing three seasons there, before transferring to LSU for his final two seasons. During his time with the Ducks, Swinson accumulated a total of 35 combined tackles, played in 29 games, 6 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, and a forced fumble, in his three seasons with the team. However when he transferred to LSU, Swinson had his break out season in 2024, as he tallied 58 combined(which is more than all his three seasons combined at Oregon), 13 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 passes defended. It was clear by the end of the season that he is ready for the NFL, and has an high ceiling to become a starting-caliber edge for most teams in the league.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
