American football quarterback Quinn Tucker Ewers was selected by the Miami Dolphins as the 231st pick in the Round 7 of the 2025 NFL Draft. He started his college career with the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2021. Failing to start for them, Ewers moved on to the Texas Longhorns in 2022. Starting 10 games for Texas in his debut year, Ewers had a record of 6-4 in 2022. He completed 172 passes for 2,177 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Ewers continued his fine form in 2023 as he started 12 games for them in 2023. Finishing with a record of 10-2, Ewers completed 272 passes for 3,479 yards and 22 touchdowns. Ewers was named to the Second-team All-Big 12 in 2023. He was also the Big 12 Championship game MVP.

Having a breakout senior year, Ewers threw his career-high 31 touchdowns in 14 games in 2024. He was also named to the Second-team All-SEC in 2924. Ewers appeared in 36 games for Texas and finished with a record of 27-9.
