Key Injuries, Predicted Lineups & Match Preview for the Crucial Premier League on April 27.

Bournemouth are set to welcome Manchester United to the Vitality Stadium on Sunday. They are approaching this game aiming to become the sixth team in the Premier League this season to defeat the Red Devils in both fixtures. Andoni Iraola’s side are also in the hunt for a spot to qualify for European competition next season.

On the other hand, with Manchester United’s Premier League season all but almost over, they have one eye elsewhere, with them deep in their Europa League run into the semis. Following a week of emotional highs and lows, both clubs are seeking stability. Bournemouth are targeting history while United are desperate to end their domestic slump.

Red Devils in Premier League Clash With One Eye on Europa League Semis

Manchester United managed a thrilling Europa League comeback against Lyon in their quarter-final clash. However, that high quickly faded into disappointment with a shock home loss to Wolves in the Premier League. Ruben Amorim’s men have now lost two Premier League matches in a row.

With that, they are also winless in four games, a run they have avoided since 2019. Relegation fears are not a concern for the Red Devils. However, 15 top-flight losses is a historic low for them. Even so, with the Europa League semi-final against Athletic Bilbao looming, the Red Devils must balance European ambition with league pride.
