Bournemouth vs Man City Head-to-Head Record: Stats, History & Latest Results

The Vitality Stadium is set to host a compelling FA Cup quarter-final clash between Man City and Bournemouth on Sunday. Manchester City are the only big-name clubs from the Premier League to stay in the tournament at this stage. Whereas, Cherries have a chance to make club history if they manage to reach the semi-finals.

This is the first time these two sides are facing each other in the FA Cup. This will also be the first time for Bournemouth if they manage to progress to the semi-finals. Bournemouth’s journey to this stage has been impressive. They started by knocking out West Bromwich Albion in the third round.

Then they took out Premier League counterparts Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the later stages of the competition. Under Andoni Iraola, the team has displayed impressive attacking prowess. Justin Kluivert, Antoine Semenyo, Marcus Tavernier, and Evanilson in the front have been key.

The four of them boast a combined 49 goal contributions across the Premier League and FA Cup this season. On the other hand, even though they’re one of the big names, Man City’s season has been underwhelming. They’ve had a relatively straightforward path to their FA Cup campaign so far and will look to build on it.
