The Boston Celtics will take on the New York Knicks for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, of the 2025 NBA Playoffs. The Knicks are currently up 2-1 in the series, however, the Celtics are the reigning champs for a reason, and will try to tie the series up in Game 4 of Round 2. But if the Knicks pull away with a win, they will take a commanding 3-1 lead, and the chances of the Celtics winning three straight games will be slim to none. So who has the better chance to win tonight’s game? Let’s find out.
The Celtics bounced back in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Knicks, and they stopped New York from taking a 3-0 lead, which would have put the Celtics in an extremely uncomfortable position. Jayson Tatum had a disappointing start to the series but he bounced back from his shooting woes as he dropped 22 points on 5-9 shooting from three point range. The Celtics need to come out with the same energy that they had in Game 3, to get the win in Game 4. If they manage to tie the series tonight, the Celtics will tie the series going back to TD Garden, which is extremely crucial for them.

The New York Knicks shocked the world when they beat the Celtics in the first two games, at TD Garden. The were down by 20 points in both those games, but their late game heroics helped them get a comeback win in both the series. However, they lost game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, in what we believe was a must win game for the Knicks. Now that the Celtics are only a win away from tying the series, the Knicks need to find a way to beat Boston tonight. If not, the Celtics will have all the momentum moving forward, and Game 5 will be at TD Garden where it is extremely tough to beat the reigning NBA champions.

The Knicks are fully healthy for tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics, which is a great sign for them as they need all the help they can get to take a 3-1 lead in this series.
Sam Hauser is listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Knicks as he is dealing with a right ankle sprain. Hauser is an essential part of the Celtics’ offense, as he is a floor spacer who can knock down threes for Boston.
