Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly open to a move.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently a hot name with the off season fast approaching. He is a probable player to enter the trade window after another unsuccessful Milwaukee Bucks season. The former MVP player has put up another year of individual brilliance but the same was not replicated from the roster.
The Bucks went on to finish at the 5th position in the Eastern Conference in the regular season with 58 wins and 20 losses. Giannis Antetokounmpo has had another blockbuster season and is stacked at the third position in the race for the MVP award.
The Greek Freak averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists this season. However, the Bucks despite having such a solid player were out in the first round of the playoffs. After all, seldom does a one man team go far in the NBA. The 30-year-old is reportedly unhappy with the front office for not equipping the team well.

The cracks of the roster were visible even in the playoffs against the Indiana Pacers when Damian Lillard crashed out with a long term injury. All of this resulted in a disappointing season end for the Milwaukee Bucks as the Pacers beat them by a comprehensive 4-1 scoreline.
According to a report from reputed journalist Shams Charania, Giannis Antetokounmpo for the first time is contemplating a move from Milwaukee. The ESPN journalist reported that Giannis all these years haven’t thought about leaving the Bucks but he is now at a stage where the likelihood of a move is higher than ever.
This could set a chain of events across the upcoming off season trade window. Giannis Antetokounmpo making himself available will alert many franchises. His probable move would also result in other players getting moved. Due to the huge contract of Antetokounmpo, not many franchises can out rightly make a move.
Most teams would require a multi player or even multi team trade to facilitate such a huge deal. Teams such as Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, and Miami Heat have emerged as favourites for the 30-year-old signatures. Giannis being in his prime would like to move to teams that have a win now mindset rather than a rebuild.
