The Cincinnati Bengals are hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers for Week 7’s Thursday Night Football action, in this heated AFC North rivalry. The Steelers are leading the AFC North with an excellent 4-1 record for the season, and are currently on a 3-game winning streak. They have been excellent on the offensive side of the field so far, with Aaron Rodgers having a stellar season, despite being 41. Meanwhile, the Bengals started the season 2-0, and were finally off to a great start for the season, until Joe Burrow’s turf toe injury . While they replaced Burrow with Jake Browning, that did not prove to be fruitful as he racked up 8 INTs in just four games.
With the Bengals struggling, the bought Joe Flacco from the Cleveland Browns, in hopes to turn their losing streak around. Despite the Bengals’ struggling O-line, Flacco delivered 2 TDs with 219 passing yards, with 0 INTs. However, they came up short against the Packers, and will try to overcome the Steelers in Week 7.

The Bengals-Steelers rivalry goes way back. The rivalry began from 1970 to 1973 and in their first encounter on November 2, 1970, Pittsburgh won 21-10 at Three Rivers Stadium. Cincinnati responded with a 34-7 victory in the rematch at home, part of a seven-game winning streak that secured the Bengals the division title.
The last time the Bengals and the Steelers met, Bengals managed to pull away with a victory 19-17, even though the final score was not as exciting as many would like it to be, on January 4, 2025.
Also, in the last five meetings between the two teams from 2020-2024, the Bengals and the Steelers are 5-5. The Bengals managed to pull off a win in their last meeting, but the Steelers had won 3 straight games from November 2023 to December 2024.
The Bengals vs Steelers rivalry has been played 111 times so far, including 2 post season games. The Steelers have won a whopping 71 times compared to the Bengals who are way behind with only 40 games won (Steelers 71-40 Bengals).

Over their last five meetings, Pittsburgh has totaled three wins against Cincinnati, and in their last five head-to-head matchups, the Steelers has scored 141 points against the Bengals, while allowing 115 points.
We expect the Steelers to add to the head-to-head record even further tonight, as the Bengals are still struggling with their defense and O-line.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
