Former US Open champion Daniil Medvedev battles two-time Roland Garros runner-up Casper Ruud in the opening last eight clash at Manolo Santana Stadium. The Russian leads the head to head against his Norwegian counterpart 3-0. Although Medvedev has a bittersweet history on the red dirt, he has displayed an incredible level of tennis this week. British southpaw Jack Draper faces the unseeded Matteo Arnaldi in a high stakes quarterfinal on Arantxa Sanchez Stadium. This is the first meeting between the two players.
