Gabriel Martinelli Believes It’s ‘A Dream Come True’ For Him

Gabriel Martinelli, who loves life in north London is thrilled to have the opportunity to reach the UEFA Champions League semifinal with Arsenal. The semi-final first leg against PSG at home is eagerly anticipated by the young forward as he in his pre-match conference said:

“It’s a dream to be here. Since I started to play football when I was five or six I had this dream to play in the Champions League and to be in the semi-final. I love to be here and the club has given me so much, not just on the pitch but off it as well. I’m really happy.”

“It’s an opportunity for our lives. It’s a great game and everyone that loves football would love to be playing these kinds of games. We’re going to enjoy the moment.”

Reflecting on the team’s belief and their recent triumph over Real Madrid, Martinelli thanked Arsenal for the journey. Talking more on the Gunners’ deserving of a European jewel, Martinelli continued:

“We had two great games against Real Madrid at home and away. We have huge respect for PSG but we’re ready. We’ve been working so hard this season and deserve to be here and go for it.

“The club has never won this title and the club deserves to have it. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world and we’re really happy to be involved in the final four. We’re excited for the game and believe we can win it.”

Joining this Arsenal squad the same season as Arteta arrived, Martinelli is been a huge part of his project.
