May 2025 has been a big month for UFC fans, with three major events packing this month’s schedule, and there’s more to come as we approach the end of this month. It kicked off with UFC Fight Night: Cory Sandhagen vs. Figueiredo on May 3 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, where Cory Sandhagen and David Figueiredo went head-to-head in a bantamweight fight.

Then, UFC 315 went rocking in Montreal, Canada, with Belal Muhammad defended his belt against Jack Della Maddalena, who was the underdog going into the fight. And we also saw Valentina Shevchenko Manon Fiorot for the flyweight title. Fast forward a week later we got to see Gilbert Burns face Michael Morales on Fight Night, which was as thrilling as it could get.

There were major announcements this month too, as multiple fights that were highly anticipated were announced too, including Ilia Topuria vs. Charles Oliveira for the lightweight title at UFC 317, a fight between for the middleweight championship between Khamzat Chimaev and Dricus Du Plessis, and of course the Islam Makhachev vs. Jack Della Maddalena fight, which was confirmed by Dana White earlier this month. However, despite all the events and announcement this month, we still have a UFC Fight Night event coming up and let’s find out more about it.

There were no fights scheduled for yesterday night and the most recent UFC Fight Night event was on May 17th, 2025 between Gilbert Burns and Michael Morales.

The next UFC Numbered event is on June 7, 2025 and it will be headlined by a rematch between Merab Dvalishvili vs. Sean O’Malley for the Bantamweight title at UFC 316.

The next UFC Fight Night is on May 31, 2025 and it is headlined by a match between Erin Blanchfield vs. Maycee Barber in a women’s flyweight contest.
