Andrey Rublev vs Felix Auger Aliassime Preview

Andrey Rublev has dropped only one set in this competition to win 54% of the points he played. He has won only one title this year in Doha when he beat Jack Draper in the final. During the title triumph, he also overcame Felix Auger-Aliassime in semis. The Russian ace has posted a 14-11 record this year, including 5-4 on clay. Rublev had an early exit at Australian Open but had a semifinal run at Open Occitanie and a quarterfinal run in Rotterdam. Following a title victory in Doha, he struggled to retain consistency. He reached the round-of-16 in Monte Carlo and Barcelona.

Auger-Aliassime eased past Daniel Altmaier and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in straight sets before playing a three-set thriller against Muller. The Canadian ace started the season with the Adelaide International to secure his sixth ATP Tour title. Later, he secured a title victory at the Open Occitanie in Montpellier to claim his second title of the season. He has rediscovered his clay court prowess at Hamburg and would be a challenging opponent for Rublev.
