There's no stopping for A'ja Wilson!!

Las Vegas Aces superstar A’ja Wilson crossed the 1,000 career points mark in the Playoffs. The four-time WNBA MVP achieved the feat during the Aces’ semi-finals Game 4 against the Indiana Fever on September 28, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Wilson is now the seventh player in the history of the league to score 1,000 career points in postseason.

The only players to record 1,000 career playoff points in the league apart from Wilson are Diana Taurasi, DeWanna Bonner, Candace Parker, Tamika Catchings, Maya Moore, and Breanna Stewart. Wilson entered Sunday’s game with a total of 991 playoff career points. She scored ten points in the opening quarter to reach the milestone in 50 games. Averaging 23.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game in the 2025 WNBA playoffs, Wilson started the game on a strong note.

She scored first bucket within the few seconds, giving an early lead to the visitors, and eventually hit a three-point shot to surpass the mark.

A’ja Wilson Surpasses Maya Moore in Another Remarkable Feat

Crossing the 1,000 playoffs career points mark wasn’t the only feat that Wilson achieved on Sunday. She also surpassed Minnesota Lynx legend Maya Moore on all-time Playoffs FGM list. Wilson achieved the milestone within the first five minutes of the game, and recorded her 379th FGM to surpass Moore’s record of 378 FGMs and grab the fourth spot. The top three players on the list are Diana Taurasi (489 FGM), DeWanna Bonner (428), and Candace Parker (425).

She finished the first quarter with 10 points, two rebounds, and two steals as the Aces trailed the Fever 21-23. Notably, the Aces are just one win away from securing their fourth WNBA Finals berth in three years. Wilson has been a guiding light for Becky Hammon’s side throughout the season, achieving one feat after the other. As of writing the Aces were trailing the Fever by three points with 8:21 in third quarter.
