After Scoring His First Formula 1 Points, Isack Hajdar Stands Ready to Face Red Bull

Not long ago, Isack Hajdar was in the shadow of Yuki Tsunoda. The French rookie for Racing Bulls had remained mostly silent for the first two races. He could not score any points. Furthermore, he suffered a devastating blow to his confidence in Australia. Hajdar had crashed out in Australia and ended up shaken. But the Japanese Grand Prix brought a positive turn around for Hajdar and his team.

As soon as Tsunoda left the team Isack Hajdar came forward with results. He placed eighth in the Japanese Grand Prix scoring his first Formula 1 points.

Isack Hajdar has come out to release a very controversial yet challenging statement. Red Bull and their driver decisions are no mystery to the F1 paddock. The entire F1 community witnessed yet another example of Red Bull Racing’s ruthlessness with their drivers. They hastily demoted Liam Lawson after two races in the the 2025 season to their junior team.

Yuki Tsunoda joined Red Bull Racing from the Japanese Grand Prix. Although, Isack Hajdar managed to get better of his former and new teammate by a huge margin. Here’s what Isack Hajdar had to say about his future at Red Bull Racing.

Isack Hajdar is Confident About His Future at Red Bull

After his first points in a F1 race, Hajdar was interviewed post-race. Isack Hajdar was asked the imminent question immediately. He was asked if he would be able to bear the pressure of driving for the Red Bull Racing team if given a chance. Helmut Marko has already clarified Red Bull’s stance on Tsunoda. However, considering their decisions in the past, nothing can remain constant at Red Bull. We may another mid-season driver change if the Bulls simply consider Tsunoda as incompetent compared to Max Verstappen.

Isack Hajdar’s reaction to this was,

“I would say I’m ready.”

Isack Hajdar has found his confidence yet again. Although, the French rookie should know by now, how Red Bull handles its drivers. If at all, he should pray he doesn’t end up becoming a part of their mid-season experiment. The Racing Bulls have become competitive in the midfield after a long time in F1. Hajdar should currenlty focus on developing his skills in the relaxed environment of the junior team. He would not become the first choice for promotion simply because he earned points in one race.

To Hajdar’s advantage, his boss Helmut Marko seems really impressed about his new performance. Marko said in an interview about his Japanese GP-

“Fortunately, he got points. I think he would have had points if the strategy had been correct in the last two races, but generally, I’m really happy to have such a new talent in our team.”

Liam Lawson is still a Red Bull junior driver. It will be interesting to see the driver dynamic between the Racing Bulls after Hajdar’s comments. If Lawson wants to keep his seat, he can’t let fellow rookie, Hajdar to get the better of him. If Isack Hajdar is serious about getting promoted to Red Bull, he should start preparing himself for the oncoming burdens and the strict scrutiny. Both Racing Bulls drivers need consistency in order to prove their effectiveness for Red Bull Racing.
