Djokovic recently made withdrawal from the National Bank Open.

Novak Djokovic won the Cincinnati Masters title in 2023 after saving a championship point to beat Carlos Alcaraz 5-7, 7-6(7), 7-6(4) in final. The 24-time major champion holds a 45-12 record at the ATP Masters 1000. The former world No. 1 posted a 26-9 record this season and reached the semifinals of all three Grand Slam events in 2025.
Djokovic’s decision to withdraw from the ATP Masters event in Cincinnati came just before the US Open. The match preparation remains crucial but Djokovic has the potential to bring his best version in the upcoming Grand Slam event. The No. 6 in the PIF ATP Rankings didn’t take part in the grass-court season and still, made into the semifinals at Wimbledon.
This year, Djokovic won his 100th tour-level title in Geneva and since then, appeared in two events only and reached the top-four. The Serbian superstar is a big match player and won the US Open title in 2023. He failed to defend the title last year when the veteran star faced a third-round defeat against Alexei Popyrin.
