John Fury Goes Off The Rails With Wild NSFW Take On ANthony Joshua vs Jake Paul

Zaid Quraishi

John Fury uses colorful language, urges Anthony Joshua to not insult his fighting skill and take on a fight against Jake Paul!

Boxing has always been a sport where trash talk and bold predictions go hand in hand. When it comes to outrageous statements, few can match the unfiltered honesty of John Fury, father of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. The elder Fury has built quite a reputation for his no nonsense takes and explosive interviews that often leave viewers either laughing or gasping in shock.

Recently, John Fury delivered one of his most memorable predictions yet when discussing the potential matchup between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul. The YouTube star turned boxer has been making waves in the heavyweight division, calling out established fighters after his controversial win over 58 year old Mike Tyson. Paul, who holds a 12-1 record with 7 knockouts, has built his career on carefully selected opponents, often facing retired MMA fighters or past their prime boxers. His success has been impressive from a business standpoint, but many boxing purists question the legitimacy of his victories. Now, he has his sights set on former champion Anthony Joshua and John Fury is not having it!

John Fury Has An NSFW Opinion On Jake Paul vs Anthony Johsua

Anthony Joshua represents a completely different challenge for Paul. The former heavyweight champion may have suffered a brutal knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in his last outing, but he still possesses the skills and power that made him a dominant force in the division. With a record of 28-4, Joshua has proven he can end fights in spectacular fashion when he’s at his best. The contrast between Paul’s carefully curated opposition and Joshua’s elite level experience couldn’t be more stark.

When asked about this potential matchup on IFL TV, John Fury didn’t hold back his thoughts. He warned Joshua against what he perceives as other fighters taking dives against Paul, urging the former champion to stay true to his abilities. But Fury wasn’t finished there. The elder Fury delivered a response that will go down in boxing interview history. In his typically crude but hilarious fashion, he expressed his confidence in Joshua’s abilities using language that would make a sailor blush.

“Anthony, listen to me, don’t take a dive with Jake Paul mate. Do not do that, not for a billion dollars my pal. Don’t do it…I think Anthony Joshua can knock Jake Paul out with his d**k. If it goes any other way, you know it’s f***ing fixed.”

The reaction from Joshua’s camp has been equally entertaining. Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, has warned Paul about the potential consequences of stepping into the ring with a legitimate heavyweight contender. While Jake Paul has shown improvement in his boxing skills over the years, facing Anthony Joshua would represent a quantum leap in competition level. The size, power, and experience gap between the two fighters is enormous!
