Who is in, who is out for the upcoming clash between the Liberty and the Aces.
The New York Liberty will be up against the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday, July 8, at home, Barclays Center. This will be the rematch of their WNBA 2025 season-opening fixture which saw the Liberty clinching a 92-78 victory over the Aces. Since then, the Liberty have recorded 12 victories in the season and are currently 12-6. On the other hand, the Aces have maintained a tally of 9-9 in the season.
In their previous game, they recorded a dominating 86-68 victory over the Connecticut Sun. The game saw A’ja Wilson dropping 19 points and three rebounds, while Dana Evans tallied 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Jackie Young came up with 14 points, three rebounds, and six assists while NaLyssa Smith tallied 11 points, 10 rebounds, and one assist. On the other hand, the Liberty suffered a 79-70 defeat to the Seattle Storm in their previous game play.
They had Sabrina Ionescu chipping in 22 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. However, despite that, the reigning champions failed to make it past the victory line. In the upcoming game, both teams would want to add one more victory to their tally, and it goes without saying, fans can expect thrill and excitement. Having said that, let’s see if the teams have any injury scare.

Harrison left the game yesterday with 2:31 left in the 3rd quarter after her knee collided with Leo Fiebich's.
The reigning champions have listed Jonquel Jones as out for the upcoming clash against the Aces. Jones suffered an ankle sprain on June 19, and was listed out for four to six weeks. There are reports that she is not expected to return before the WNBA All-Star break from July 18 to 22. They also have Isabelle Harrison listed as questionable for the fixture against the Aces. Harrison collided her knee with Leo Fiebich’s during the clash against the Storm.
