The Sunday WNBA slate is full of action. Five games between some of the best teams in the league. Thus, we can end up with many memorable memories. In this section, I will cover the second half of the action and work out the best picks for the day. I will take a look at the best picks for the Phoenix Mercury vs Las Vegas encounter.
Then I am interested in peeking at the Minnesota Lynx and the Connecticut Sun battle. Apart from that, we have the most interesting match-up of the day between the Golden State Valkyries and the Seattle Storm. Here is a look at my favorite WNBA parlay for the day based on BetMGM.
The Lynx are the best team in the league with a 13-2 record. They are not the highest scoring squad, but they have the capabilities to score 90+, like they did in the last game. Defensively, they are one of the best and usually contain squads under 80.
On the other hand, the Sun has been in tatters, usually scoring below 80, but sometimes they have had some surprising 80+ performances, like they did in the last game. Overall, the bookmakers are right in projecting the score below 160, but I think Minnesota will score at least 87 and Sun at least 72, so I expect the score to go over.
The Valkyries have more than exceeded expectations. They defeated the Chicago Sky 83-78 as Kayla Thornton had a career-high 29 points outing in their latest match-up. The Valkyries have won six of their last eight games. Their 8-7 record contains wins against winning squads, including their opponent for the day, the Seattle Storm.
On the other hand, the Storm marches into this game after a stellar 97-81 win against the Connecticut Sun, as Skylar Diggins compiled 24 points. They have won seven of their last nine games for a 10-6 record.
This is an interesting game considering Golden State beat them by six points. They have made a mockery of the projected spread/moneyline. But Seattle may change that and finally deter Valkyries from overturning the odds
I would like to combine the aforementioned bets here to generate a decent parlay. The total of 154 seems low, whereas I have faith in Seattle’s ability to get past the Valkyries even in the latter’s raucous home ‘Ballhalla” home floor, Chase Center.
My WNBA Parlay pick: Total O 154.5 and Storm -5.5 for +272 at BetMGM

Wilson has been one of the best scorers in the league like she has more than half a decade now. The stellar Aces PF is averaging 21.3 PPG, scoring 22 or more in three straight games. I expect her to put up at least 22 here.
Here is an overview of the best bets for the day.
| Pick | Odds | Bookmaker |
| Lynx vs Sun: Total O 154.5 | -105 | BetMGM |
| Spread: Storm -5.5 | -105 | BetMGM |
| Points: A’ja Wilson O 21.5 | -105 | BetMGM |

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
