NFL 2025–26 Week 14 Playoff Chances and Odds for All Teams As Patriots Reclaim AFC Top Spot, While Bears Take Control of the NFC

Devavrat Kulkarni

A 5-game win streak has the Bears leading the NFC after Week 13!

A lot happened in Week 13 of the 2025-26 NFL season. First of all, all 32 teams were in action, and we witnessed three games on ‘Thanksgiving Day’ followed by one on Black Friday. The week came to an end with the Patriots vs Giants game on Monday Night Football (MNF).

There were as many as seven upsets this week, and that has led to some changes in the playoff chances for teams. Moreover, quite a few teams also joined the Giants in being eliminated from the playoff race for this season.

So without further ado, here we take a look at the latest playoff chances for all teams ahead of Week 14 as per the official NFL website.

NFL 2025–26 Teams to Make the Playoffs As per Current Standings

Taking a look at the playoff picture on the AFC side of things, the Patriots and the Broncos are at the top of the standings and also have a 99% chance of making it to the postseason. The Jaguars and the Ravens are next in playoff seedings as the current leaders of the AFC South and the AFC North, respectively. Jacksonville has an 81% chance of progressing to the playoffs, while Baltimore has a 69% chance.

The final three seedings in the AFC belong to the Chargers, Colts, and Bills. However, out of these three teams, the Bills actually hold a massive 91% chance of making it to the postseason, whereas the Chargers and Colts are at 62% and 70%, respectively.

The table below represents the AFC playoff picture if the season ended today, with odds sourced by FanDuel

2Denver Broncos10-299%-10000

4Baltimore Ravens6-669%-196
5Los Angeles Chargers8-462%-158
6Indianapolis Colts8-470%-265
7Buffalo Bills8-491%-2200

On the NFC side, the Bears have surprised everyone by snatching the top seed from the Rams after their Week 13 win over the Eagles. The Rams, meanwhile, lost to the Panthers, shaking things up quite a bit at the top.

Having said that, the Bears still hold just a 75% chance of progressing to the postseason, largely due to the stiff competition within the division from the Packers and Lions. The Rams hold a 96% chance, while the Eagles are at 94%.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are next with an 85% chance, while the Seahawks, Packers, and 49ers come in with 93%, 89%, and 92%.

I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
