NFL 2026–27 Cleveland Browns Regular Season Over/under Odds for Total Wins – Best Early Odds and Predictions for 2026–27 NFL Season

Devavrat Kulkarni

Something felt completely off for the Cleveland Browns ever since the 2025 NFL draft, where they selected two quarterbacks, Dillon Gabriel in round 3 and Shedeur Sanders in round 5. While the Browns actually drafted quite well apart from that, the overall season was a huge disappointment.

The lack of clarity under center was the biggest drawback of the season. Starting out with veteran Joe Flacco, Cleveland experimented with Gabriel for a few games before finishing the season with Sanders as the starting QB.

And as one can imagine, all that did was put the offense in a terrible spot. The Browns finished the season 31st in average points scored, 31st in passing yards per game, and 30th in total yards per game. Their best pass-catcher was rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr., who caught 72 passes for 731 yards.

On the other side of the ball, the Browns were middle of the pack in scoring defense, but finished top 5 in overall yards per game allowed. Cleveland also finished 3rd in the league with 53 sacks, although Myles Garrett set a new sack record with 23 to his name.

In the aftermath of finishing the season with a 5-12 record, the Browns decided to part ways with head coach Kevin Stefanski. He has now been replaced by Todd Monken, the former OC for the Baltimore Ravens.

The Cleveland Browns will begin the 2026-27 NFL season under a new head coach, and that will bring about a new scheme as well. There is still plenty of uncertainty over the starting quarterback, and the receiver room could use an upgrade.

If the defense can perform at a similar level to last season, Cleveland stands a chance at improving on its five wins from 2025. One reason that is a possibility is due to the Browns’ schedule for the upcoming season. As a matter of fact, they have the easiest schedule of all 32 teams, which is surely a big boost.

Having said that, here is a look at the Cleveland Browns’ list of opponents for the 2026-27 NFL season.

  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Houston Texans
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Las Vegas Raiders
  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Carolina Panthers
  • Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Tennessee Titans
  • New York Jets
  • New Orleans Saints
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • New York Giants

Looking at the list of opponents for the Browns for the season ahead, they will be facing only 4 teams that made the playoffs last year. That said, Cleveland could also face tough games against the likes of the Ravens, Bengals, and Buccaneers.

However, they have multiple matchups against weaker teams such as the Raiders, Titans, Jets, Giants, and the Saints. With an easier schedule, there is a chance the Browns can improve this time around, but we still feel it would be difficult to see them in the postseason.

Early prediction: Browns 2026-27 regular season record: 7-10

Cleveland Browns Major Injuries and Concerns going into 2026-27 NFL Season

Injuries

As is the case with most of the NFL teams, the Cleveland Browns roster is also dealing with a number of injuries in the offseason. Most of the players are expected to make a return by the time training camp starts around the month of July.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson is expected to be healthy enough to compete for the starting quarterback job after missing the entire 2025 campaign following a re-torn Achilles tendon. However, it is worth keeping an eye on his update during the offseason.

Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins just signed with the Browns on the 9th of March as a free agent. He is currently recovering from a season-ending leg fracture, which he suffered last November. His health status will be key for the Browns heading into the start of the new season. Cornerback Denzel Ward played through a neck injury in 2025, which makes his health another point of concern.

Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who has missed all games following a neck injury in October 2024, is now doubtful to return to the field. As per the latest reports, Owusu-Koramoah’s short yet impactful career in the NFL may be over.

Roster concerns

The Cleveland Browns need to address their issues on the offensive side of the ball. Last season, the Browns’ offense clearly let the whole team down. Putting together a solid O-line will be the first step for Todd Monken.

Secondly, with Deshaun Watson looking more and more likely to push for the starting role under center, the Browns have a massive decision to make if Watson is able to prove himself. Next up will be the wide receiver room, which at present is just not good enough to compete with the top teams.

Furthermore, Cleveland will also need to find able replacements for their top departures, such as linebacker Devin Bush and tight end David Njoku. While the Browns did sign Quincy Williams, he is not exactly in the same league as Bush.

Cleveland Browns NFL 2026-27 Draft Picks and how they can have an impact on the Total Over/Under Wins Odds

After the NFL allotted all the compensatory picks to the teams, the Cleveland Browns currently have a total of 9 draft picks for the upcoming NFL draft in 2026. With that, the Browns hold 3 selections inside the top 50, including two in the first round.

The very first pick for the Browns will be pick number 6 overall, followed by pick number 24 overall, which they received from the Jaguars. They also hold the overall pick number 39 in the second round.

The Browns have plenty of needs, especially on offense, and 3 selections inside the top 40 is truly a great place for them to start with. Cleveland may still need time to challenge for postseason success, but this offseason is showing quite a bit of potential.
