Alexander Zverev vs. Felix Auger-Aliassime Head-to-Head, Preview, Prediction, and Betting Odds for US Open 2025 Round of 32

Rudra Dubey

Zverev’s efficiency will be tested against Auger-Aliassime’s firepower in the US Open 2025.

Third seed Alexander Zverev faces 25th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in a third-round clash at the US Open 2025. Auger-Aliassime advanced with wins over lucky loser Billy Harris and Roman Safiullin, while Zverev has looked sharp, cruising past Alejandro Tabilo and Jacob Fearnley in straight sets.

Zverev’s 2025 season has been a mix of consistency and vulnerability. The German lifted the Munich title over Ben Shelton, reached finals in Melbourne and Stuttgart, and posted semifinal runs in Halle, Toronto, and Cincinnati. Still, early exits at Wimbledon, Indian Wells, and Monte Carlo exposed lingering inconsistency. Statistically, he remains one of the tour’s most efficient players, firing 444 aces, winning 75% of first-serve points, and converting 42% of 417 break point opportunities.

Auger-Aliassime has enjoyed a strong season of his own. He opened with a title in Adelaide, added another in Open Occitanie, and reached the Dubai final before a mid-year slump that included withdrawing from Rome with a lower-body injury. However, the Canadian has made semifinals in Doha, Hamburg, Stuttgart, and Mallorca, plus a quarterfinal in Cincinnati, where he fell to Jannik Sinner. With 476 aces, 76% first-serve points won, 30% first-serve return points won, and a 32% break conversion rate  of 369 opportunities.

Alexander Zverev vs. Felix Auger-Aliassime Head-to-Head Record

Alexander Zverev holds a 6-2 lead in his head-to-head against Felix Auger-Aliassime, with their rivalry offering no shortage of twists. The German dominated the early exchanges, claiming victories in Monte Carlo and Beijing in 2019 before adding another in the 2020 Cologne final. But Wimbledon 2021 brought a turning point when Auger-Aliassime battled through five sets to score his first win in the rivalry.

Zverev quickly responded later that season in Vienna, before the Canadian struck again at the 2022 ATP Cup in three sets. Since then, however, Zverev has reasserted himself, taking their most recent meetings in Madrid 2022 and Miami 2024 to extend his advantage.
