Davis brings legitimate credentials to this fight with a record of 30 wins, no losses, and one draw. More importantly, he’s knocked out 28 of his opponents, which means Paul better be ready for serious power despite the size disadvantage. Davis proved his star power when his fight against Ryan Garcia in April 2023 generated over a million pay-per-view buys and a gate of nearly $23 million.

Lamont Roach’s Reaction To The Fight

Lamont Roach Jr. didn’t hold back his feelings when the Paul vs Davis fight got announced. “Told ya lol,” Roach wrote on social media, adding four duck emojis to make his point crystal clear. His reaction makes perfect sense when fans understand the backstory. Roach was supposed to fight Davis in a rematch on August 16 after their controversial draw in March, but that fight fell through when Davis apparently never signed the contract. Now everyone knows why Davis was dragging his feet on that rematch.
