The game saw Sabrina Ionescu dropping 18 points, two rebounds, and five assists for the Liberty, while a total of three players came up with 13 points. Jonquel Jones poured in 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Leonie Fiebich tallied 13 points, two rebounds, and one assist. Similarly, Breanna Stewart chipped in 13 points while grabbing three rebounds, and five assists.

It marked the most lopsided victory in the history of the franchise. Not only this, but it also improved the Liberty’s tally to 7-0, tying them with the 1997 team for the best start to a season. During the Sunday-night gale, the Liberty gained an early lead and entered the second quarter with a 31-13 lead. By halftime, the lead had extended to 60-28, which then went to 90-36 by the end of the third quarter.
