NBA Playoffs Props for Minnesota Timberewolves vs Oklahoma City Thunder Game 3

Shubham Singh

The Oklahoma City Thunder destroyed the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first two games of the Western Conference Finals series. The ball will literally be in the Timberwolves’ court as they will avoid going to the dooming 0-3 path.

Can they do as the two teams clash on May 24 on the Timberwolves’ home floor, Target Center? Will Shai Gilgeous-Alexander explode for another 30+ points night? Here is a look at the player props based on BetMGM and FanDuel.

NBA Playoffs Props for WCF Game 3- Minnesota Timberwolves- NBA Best Picks

Julius Randle O 20.5 points for +105 (BetMGM)

The Thunder defense finally found the answer for Julius Randle in Game 2, limiting him to a playoff-low 6 points. He had cleared his points props in five straight games and has done so in more than 70% of the postseason games this season.

I believe he will be buoyed upon returning to the Timberwolves’ home court and put together another 20+ points outing.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker O 7.5 points for -125 (BetMGM)

NAW is a hit-and-miss off the bench. In Game 2, he had a phenomenal 17-point outing. He had scored 8 in the previous game. He has averaged 8 PPG since the start of the Western Semi-Final. I believe he will score 9-11 points here.

Anthony Edwards O 5.5 assists for +115 (BetMGM)

The Timberwolves superstar SG shifts his approach, both as a playmaker and scorer. His flexibility allows him to become a dependable passer, as evidenced by his 6 assists in Game 2. He has usually figured below 6 assists in most of the games lately, but I believe he will clear the “over” mark here.

NBA Playoffs Props for WCF Game 3- Oklahoma City Thunder- NBA Betting Picks

Jalen Williams U 20.5 Points for -106 (FanDuel)

J-Dub has been on-and-off this postseason but turned up with a huge 26-point performance in Game 1 of the WCF. He has cleared the “Over” in two of the last three games, scoring 19 and more in three straight games.

Before that, he had fallen “Under” in five of the six games, indicating his inconsistent play. I believe he will be contained below 20 points here.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander U 32.5 points for -110 (BetMGM)

SGA usually clears or falls under the projected points by a point or two. But he cleared the “Over” more decisively in Game 2, scoring 38, around 6-7 points above the projections.

The 2024-25 MVP has now scored 31 or more in five straight games, but it’s time that the Wolves cool down his hot hand.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
