The Indiana Pacers became the first team to secure their berth in the conference finals in NBA Playoffs 2025. The Pacers, who finished their regular season in the fourth spot with a 50-32 record, defeated the table-toppers Cleveland Cavaliers to book their second-consecutive Eastern Conference Finals berth.

In the first round, the Bucks were paired against the Milwaukee Bucks. They dominated their rivals right from the beginning of the series and successfully defeated them in five games to move ahead in Round 2. They headed into the second round as underdogs against the No. 1 Cavaliers. However, Indiana kicked off the series with a bang, and went on to secure two straight wins.

After losing Game 3, the Pacers found their momentum back and defeated the Cavaliers in the next two games to step closer to the Larry O’Brien Championship. In the forthcoming round, they will be up against the winners of the New York Knicks-Boston Celtics series. How Many Times Have Pacers Made It to Conference Finals?

The Indiana Pacers have made it to the NBA playoffs 29 times out of their 49 seasons. In those seasons, they have been to nine Eastern Conference Finals. Their last appearance in the conference finals came in 2024, where they clashed against the Boston Celtics. The Celtics took the Pacers down 4-0, and went on to win their 18th NBA championship.

How Many NBA Finals Appearances Do Pacers Have?

The Indiana Pacers have made it to one NBA Finals, in 2000. They had finished the regular season with a staggering record of 56-26 and clashed against the Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, and New York Knicks in the next three rounds. In the NBA Finals, the Pacers clashed against the LA Lakers, and went down 4-2.

Pacers are one of the ten teams who haven’t won any NBA championship so far.
