NBA Playoffs 2025 Boston Celtics vs Orlando Magic Game 2 Injury Report – Major Concerns Around Jayson Tatum As Celtics Aim for Consecutive Wins at TD Garden

Gulshan Sharma

Apart from Tatum, the Celtics have a healthy roster for Wednesday's home matchup.

Riding on high confidence, the Boston Celtics will host the Orlando Magic in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series in pursuit of a 2-0 lead. The defending champions rolled past the Magic 103-86 in Game 1, thanks to a second-half surge.

Orlando came through a Play-In tournament and looked solid in the opening half. However, Boston outscored them 30-18 to take a decisive lead. The Magic went 10-for-27 from beyond the arc and shot 42% from the floor in Game 1. Banchero and Wagner need support from other players to counter Boston’s tight defense.

On the flip side, it should be an easy series for the Celtics if they win one more game on Wednesday. The Magic need a comeback win in Game 2 to fuel intensity in the upcoming two-game homestand. Tatum’s injury in the previous game could be a concern for Boston, but they can defeat the Magic without their star player.

Before the action begins, let’s break down the Celtics vs Magic Injury Report that could impact lineups and momentum in Game 2.

Apart from Tatum, the Celtics have a healthy roster for Wednesday’s home matchup. Jaylen Brown is off the injury report and also returned in Game 1 after a three-game absence due to a bone bruise in his right knee.
