Yair Rodriguez’s MMA Journey

Yair Rodriguez comes from Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico and has become one of the veteran Feathwerweight division MMA fighters in UFC. He started his MMA career with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he won The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America winner. He eventually made his first UFC appearance with a win against Leonardo Morales at UFC 180: Werdum vs Hunt on November 15, 2014.

Since making his UFC debut, “El Pantera” has gone on to become the interim UFC Featherweight Championship by defeating Josh Emmett at UFC 284: Makhachev vs Volkanovski on February 11, 2023. However, he lost it to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 290: Volkanovksi vs Rodriguez on July 8, 2023. Yair Rodriguez has found himself at #5 in the UFC Featherweight Division with a record of 20-5-0.

Patricio Pitbull is all set to make his presence felt inside the Octagon for the first time at UFC 314: Volkanovsky vs Lopes on April 12, 2025. Despite that, he is not to be taken lightly as this veteran Featherweight Division has been a three-time Bellator Featherweight Champion during his time with Bellator MMA. Hailing from Natal, Rio Grande de Norte, Brazil, he gained his experience in MMA in Brazil and competed in several promotions before joining Bellator MMA.
