Key Injuries, Predicted Lineups & Match Preview for the Crucial Series a Clash on March 30.

Inter Milan will resume their Serie A campaign after the international break on Sunday. In this home game against Udinese, they will look to strengthen their grip on the league title. Before the international break, Inter earned a crucial win against Atalanta in Bergamo. Thus, keeping their treble hopes alive.

Simone Inzaghi’s side now lead the Serie A scoring charts. Currently in excellent form, they’re now boasting a four-match winning streak across all competitions. Inter now seems to be in control of their fate with only nine league games left to be played.

Historically, Inter have dominated Udinese at San Siro. They’ve won all their last six meetings at home by an impressive combined score of 16-2. On the other hand, Udinese have already lost twice to them this season. Losing once by a 3-2 margin in the league and another time by a 2-margin 0 in the  karone lCoppa Italia.

Udinese are still boasting a six-game unbeaten run which propelled them towards a top-10 finish. Even so, they’re coming into this match on the back of a defeat to Hellas Verona before the international break. Even so, the visitors will look to recover against the league leaders. Added to these, both teams dealing with key injuries, the match becomes more interesting.

Inter Milan Injury News

The hosts will be missing one player from the squad that defeated Atalanta. Defender Alessandro Bastoni will be serving out suspension after he saw a red card in that match. Lautaro Martinez also remains a doubt because of a hamstring injury that also kept him out of Argentina’s squad this March.

The Argentine could be sitting out this match alongside Denzel Dumfries and Piotr Zielinski. However, Inzaghi will get a squad boost with Matteo Darmian, Federico Dimarco, and Nicola Zalewski now back. Crucial matches against AC Milan and Bayern Munich are on the horizon for Inter, so Inzaghi may be relying a lot on squad rotation.

Inter Milan probable starting lineup:

Sommer; Augusto, Acerbi, Pavard; Dimarco, Mkhitaryan, Calhanoglu, Barella, Darmian; Thuram, Correa

Udinese Injury News

Forward Alexis Sanchez Udinese will not be able to face his former club because of a long-term injury. He’s recovering alongside Udinese’s backup goalkeeper Razvan Sava and long-term absentee Isaak Toure. However, they have received a squad boost with the return of Hassane Kamara who is coming back after serving suspension.

He will have to compete for his place on the left flank with Jordan Zemura. Florian Thauvin, who had been recovering a foot injury, should be fit to partner Lorenzo Lucca in the final third. Lucca, who has 10 Serie A goals to his name this season, has one goal against Inter as well, so he may be utilized.

Udinese probable starting lineup:

Okoye; Solet, Bijol, Kristensen; Kamara, Ekkelenkamp, Karlstrom, Lovric, Ehizibue; Lucca, Thauvin
