WATCH: Brooklyn’s Trendon Watford Ejected After Brawl with Pacers’ Andrew Nembhard in a Dramatic Game

All three players faced consequences for their activity on the court.

The Indiana Pacers pulled off a solid comeback in the second half to beat the Brooklyn Nets 105-99 on Thursday night. During the toe-to-toe finish in Indiana, the game was interrupted by a massive brawl. Brooklyn forward Trendon Watford and Indiana’s Andrew Nembhard and Myles Turner were involved in a heated argument.

The Nets held a 52-42 lead at halftime but couldn’t sustain it longer, thanks to a comeback from the Pacers. Indiana outscored Brooklyn in the third quarter and reduced the double-digit lead to six points. During the fourth quarter, a full-blown altercation occurred between the teams.

Trendon Watford just got into it with Andrew Nembhard and Myles Turner. Jordi Fernandez ran over to break it up and got shoved into the second row.

Brooklyn’s Trendon Watford collided with Indiana’s Andrew Nembhard with less than five minutes left in the game. The Nets held an 84-77 lead when tow players were involved in a fight. The situation became slightly serious as Myles Turner also joined the altercation.

Turner rushed to defend his teammate. Jordi Fernandez also ran over to break it up. Later, players from both benches and team staff poured onto the court.

All three players faced consequences for their activity on the court. Watford faced ejection after initiating the matter. Both Nembhard and Turner received technical fouls for their behaviour. Myles Turner scored 23 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks.

The massive brawl fueled the Pacers to script a comeback and they sparked a 14-7 run in the end to force overtime. Benedict Mathurin scored six points and shot 2 for 3 from the field and 2 for 3 from the line in overtime as the Pacers outscored the Nets 14-8. Mathurin also made three free throws with 14 seconds left to tie the game at 91.

Indiana Pacers improved to a 40-29 record and reached fourth place in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Nets slipped to 13th with a 23-47 record.
