Conor McGregor unveils a game-changing career strategy, teasing big plans that could reshape his future and dominate the fight scene.

Conor McGregor has always been a man of big dreams and even bigger promises. Back in 2015, when he knocked out Jose Aldo in just 13 seconds, nobody could have predicted the wild journey ahead.

From being a apprentice plumber in Dublin to becoming the UFC‘s first double champion, McGregor’s story is inspiring. Now, after investing in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) last year, the Irish superstar has his sights set on yet another bold venture.

From UFC Octagon To Bare Knuckle

At a recent BKFC press conference in Florence, Italy, McGregor didn’t just show up as a part-owner. He dropped a bombshell that sent shockwaves through the combat sports world.

“If you think I’m up here giving these speeches and leading these men into battle and I won’t step in there myself, think again. For sure, Conor McGregor will fight in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Mark my words. I’d like a world title in this company. I would wish to be the bare-knuckle world title, world champion. That is a significant belt to hold in your career.”

‘The Notorious’ isn’t just talking about a one-off appearance either. He is gunning for the BKFC world title. Classic McGregor, always shooting for the stars! But that is a stretch, even for him.

The Road Ahead: UFC First

Before fans get too excited about seeing McGregor’s fists flying without gloves, there is a small matter of two UFC fights left on his contract. McGregor hasn’t stepped into the octagon since that nasty leg break against Dustin Poirier in 2021. He was supposed to face Michael Chandler last June but had to pull out due to a broken toe. Dana White and the UFC brass probably aren’t too thrilled about their golden goose eyeing another fighting promotion.

McGregor’s desire to add a BKFC title to his collection isn’t completely out of left field. Remember when he crossed over to boxing to face Floyd Mayweather? That didn’t end well, but it showed his willingness to chase new challenges. The bare-knuckle scene has been growing lately, with former UFC fighters like Mike Perry and Eddie Alvarez finding success there. McGregor joining as a fighter would be like adding rocket fuel to BKFC’s momentum.

What Are Conor McGregor’s Chances In BKFC?

Here is the million dollar question. Could McGregor actually succeed in bare-knuckle boxing? His precise striking and timing made him deadly in MMA, but bare-knuckle is a different beast. But, if there’s one thing fans have learned about Conor McGregor, it’s never to count him out.

But, first things first though, he needs to handle his UFC business. Until then, fans will have to wait and see if the man who once promised to “take over” has another ace up his sleeve!
