2026 FIFA World Cup Tickets Price Revealed

Abhinav Goel

FIFA has officially opened ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup, and the prices reveal just how costly this tournament will be for fans. While FIFA had previously stated that 2026 FIFA World Cup tickets price would start at $60, it has come to light that those entry-level seats are extremely limited. Notably, those $60 seats are mostly confined to upper-deck corners in group-stage games. With FIFA expanding the tournament to 48 teams, demand has soared for tickets.

The majority of tickets at 2026 FIFA World Cup are priced in the hundreds. The prices for marquee matches such as openers and knockout ties even go into the thousands. For group-stage fixtures in the United States, tickets range from $60 to $620 depending on the stadium and seating category. SoFi Stadium in California, Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey carry some of the highest prices of the tournament.

FIFA has confirmed that all prices for 2026 FIFA World Cup are subject to its “variable pricing” model. It means that ticket costs could shift based on demand as sales continue. This approach has already frustrated fans, many of whom faced long waits online only to discover that lower-priced tickets had sold out within minutes.
