Juan Soto’s three-run homer with two outs in the 10th inning sealed the victory, sending the Bronx Bombers back to baseball’s biggest stage.
Soto, who made his first playoff home-run for the Yankees in Game 1, delivered in the biggest moment of his short Yankees tenure, living up to the hype of the offseason trade that brought him to New York.

The Cleveland Guardians’ outstanding season came to a sad end after a 4-1 loss in the ALCS. The Guardians gave a fight till the end before Soto’s heroics crushed their World Series dream.
Hunter Gaddis was the pitcher who gave away the home run that ended Cleveland’s season. Gaddis didn’t make much impact in the series, having an ERA of 11.57 in his first three ALCS appearances but his Game 5 error would hurt him and Cleveland fans the most.
