Wolfsburg have now gone three games without scoring, and they've conceded exactly one goal in each of their last eight matches.

RB Leipzig will look to keep up the pressure on the top four in the Bundesliga when they visit Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena on Friday. Leipzig sit in fifth position with 45 points after a 3-1 win over Hoffenheim last weekend. They are just one point shy of the final Champions League qualification place, which is occupied by Mainz.

On the other hand, Wolfsburg currently sit 12th in the Bundesliga with 38 points. They are coming on the back of a narrow 1-0 loss to Union Berlin. Wolfsburg have now gone three games without scoring, and they’ve conceded exactly one goal in each of their last eight matches.

Wolfsburg will be without several key players for their clash with RB Leipzig, with defenders Denis Vavro, Sebastiaan Bornauw, and Konstantinos Koulierakis all sidelined, along with goalkeeper Niklas Klinger.

Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl opted for a back three in the match against Union Berlin, and he could stick with the same backline here. With Mattias Svanberg unavailable in midfield, Aster Vranckx and Maximilian Arnold are likely candidates to start in the center of the park.

Mads Roerslev is sidelined with a heel injury, while Lucas Nmecha is dealing with adductor problems. On a positive note, Bartosz Bialek and Lovro Majer have returned to training following extended spells on the sidelines.

RB Leipzig will be without several key players heading into Friday’s match. Benjamin Henrichs has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after sustaining an ACL injury, while Assan Ouédraogo has suffered a fresh thigh setback. Xaver Schlager is also sidelined for several weeks due to a thigh issue, and Antonio Nusa remains out with a knee injury.
