The Sunday W slate is a stuff of dreams for the WNBA fans. They have especially been blessed with some terrific performances throughout the season. Rookies like Sonia Citron and Paige Bueckers have lit up the scene, but the same goes for the rookie franchise, Golden State Valkyries.
The word “overachievers” doesn’t even scratch the surface of their accomplishments thus far. The Valkyries will look to flip the script as they take on the Seattle Storm in the last game of the night. Here is a look at my favorite WNBA Same Game Parlay for the match.
The Valkyries have already shocked the Seattle Storm once. Golden State won 76-70 during their Commissioner Cup battle. During that game, the Vakyries X-Factor Kayla Thornton thoroughly outplayed Nneka Ogwumike.
She scored 22 compared to just 6 points by Ogwumike. The Storm’s team play has improved since then, and they are 4-1 after the loss. Meanwhile, the Valkyries are red-hot too, with five wins in seven games.
I expect the Storm to avenge their loss in a riveting fashion and expect them to cover the spread.
The Storm’s offense has been red-hot these days. They have scored 90+ or more in four of the last five games(86 in the other). Thus, the 70-point performance against the Valkyries was indeed an aberration.
On the other hand, the Valkyries have not allowed more than 81 points in their last seven games, demonstrating their terrific discipline. But I see Seattle breaking that streak and scoring at least 83 here against the packed “Ballhalla” Chase Center crowd.
WNBA SGP: Storm -5.5 and O 80.5 points for +150 at BetMGM

The two picks above are low-risk, decent-reward selections (Although nothing is really low risk against the feisty Valkyries). Apart from the SGP, here is a look at a lucrative player props pick.
Kayla Thornton will come into this game after a career-high 29-point outburst in her last game. She is averaging 15.9 PPG, scoring 16 or more in seven of the last eight games. It includes a riveting 22-point outing against the Storm in their last battle. Thus, I’d take “over” here.

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
