The Lynx comes into this game after a rousing 102-63 win against the Connecticut Sun as WNBA frontrunner Napheesa Collier had an explosive 23-point, 9-rebound performance. McBride hit 5 triples while Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman both dished out seven assists each.

It was Lynx’s second win in a row, and they have been victorious in five of the last six games. They have resumed their winning ways from the 2024 campaign and are desperate to become champions after a finals appearance last year.

The window is opening, considering the struggles of defending champs, the NY Liberty. The team plays with the slowest pace, which is because of a deliberate passing game. They rank #1 in assists with around 24 APG per game while shooting the best three-point percentage (9.3 makes on 36.9% FG).

The Fever enters the match after an impressive 94-86 win against the Dallas Wings without their superstar, Caitlin Clark. Kelsey Mitchell pumped 32 points, whereas Aliyah Boston continued her red-hot form with 21 points.

Meanwhile, Natasha Howard contributed a double-double (15 points, 13 rebounds), whereas Aari McDonald’s 15-point piece was a huge difference maker too. Indiana shot a brilliant 59.3% FG, focusing on two-pointers more than threes(6-14).

Indiana’s incredible depth hasn’t converted into wins, tho. They are yet to win more than two in a row and are 2-3 in the last five games. Clark has been terrific overall, but her returns have been slim lately due to multiple injuries.

The Fever’s roster is equipped to win much more, but now Clark will have to be even more assertive after her recovery.

But I feel both teams will be battling hard for the Commissioner Cup trophy, which can make for a defensive-oriented battle. Therefore, I will opt for “Under” here.

Caitlin Clark Under 19.5 points: Clark has averaged 18.2 PPG for the season. Before her groin injury, she scored 19 or fewer points in three straight games, shooting just 1/23 from three in that period. She will come after a decent break, but I expect the tight Lynx defense to hold her “under” the mark here.

Alanna Smith to pull down over 5.5 rebounds: The Lynx Center has pulled down 5.5 RPG this season, collecting 5+ rebounds in three of the last four games. I expect her to clear at least 6 boards here.
