The reigning champions New York Liberty continued their winning streak and got past the Atlanta Dream in a notable victory. In other games of the night, the Los Angeles Sparks went past the Connecticut Sun to hand them the eighteenth loss of the season. Not only this but the Washington Mystics also rolled past the Seattle Storm in an exciting match up. A lot more happened in the WNBA on Sunday, and here, we will go through the highlights of those games.

New York Liberty 79-72 Atlanta Dream

The New York Liberty continued their winning momentum and handed a 79-72 defeat to the Atlanta Dream. The game that marked their 14th victory of the season, saw Leonie Fiebich dropping 21 points, four rebounds, and four assists for the reigning champions. Apart from her, Breanna Stewart came up with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. However, no other player from the Liberty could reach the two-figure mark.

For the Dream, Allisha Gray dropped 16 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Apart from her, two other players including Maya Caldwell and Jordin Canada came up with 12 points each. While Caldwell finished with five rebounds and three assists, Canada had eight rebounds and six assists. In addition, Naz Hillmon came up with 11 points, seven rebounds, and one assist while Brittney Gear recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds, and one assist.

Los Angeles Sparks 92-88 Connecticut Sun

In the second game of an exciting Sunday, the Los Angeles Sparks got past the Connecticut Sun 92-88. Kelsey Plum dropped 23 points, one rebound and three assists. Azura Stevens came up with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and one assists while Rickea Jackson tallied 19 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Moreover, Dearica Hamby chipped in 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

On the other hand, the Connecticut Sun had Bria Hartley come up with 25 points, one rebound, and six assists. Saniya Rivers recorded 20 points, six rebounds, and one assist, while Jacy Sheldon recorded 11 points, two rebounds, and one assist. In addition, Aneesah Morrow recorded 10 points and seven rebounds.

Washington Mystics 74-69 Seattle Storm

The Washington Mystics rolled past the Seattle Storm 74-69 on Sunday. This marked their third straight victory for the Mystics while the Storm were pushed towards the ninth defeat of the season. Brittney Sykes came up with 19 points, four rebounds, and four assists while Sonia Citron recorded 17 points and one rebound. Kiki Iriafen recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds, and one assist. Other than them, no other player could get past the two-figure mark among the Mystics.

For the Storm, Ezi Magbegor recorded 19 points, seven rebounds, and one assist. Nneka Ogwumike came up with 16 points and six rebounds while Tiffany Mitchell recorded 12 points, one rebound and one assist whereas Skylar Diggins tallied 10 points, three rebounds, and four assists.
