WNBA Player Props for Sky vs Lynx featuring Angel Reese- 07/12/2025

The All-Star break is nearing, but there is still a ton of action remaining before the festivities. Each game now becomes ever-so-important as the window to make a big push gets shortened.

On that note, the 2024 Finalists, the Minnesota Lynx, will visit the Chicago Sky in a WNBA regular-season game on July 12. We will see MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier collide against the young sensation, Angel Reese.

Here is a prediction regarding their player props for the intriguing Saturday night match-up. My selections are in order of preference.

WNBA Player Props Pick #1- Angel Reese- Points

Reese is enjoying one of the most productive offensive stretches of her early career. She is averaging 13.3 points per game, but scratch that. The post-player has figured out her rhythm lately and has accumulated 18.7 PPG over the last six games.

During that stretch, she has scored over 14 points in each game. The bookmakers have placed slightly unlikely odds for her to cross the mark again. The reasoning can be based upon Lynx’s interior defense, powered by reigning Defensive Player of the Year Napheesa Collier.

Meanwhile, center Alanna Smith is also one of the best shot blockers in the league. However, Reese managed 16 against the Lynx just a few days ago. I see her crossing the 15-point mark again.

WNBA Player Props Pick #2- Angel Reese- Rebounds

It is not a stretch to say that Angel Reese has been the greatest rebounder in WNBA history already. No one has enjoyed more brilliant rebounding stretches than her. She has tallied 12.8 RPG, but that number dwarfs compared to what she has done recently.

The interior player has pulled down 16.1 RPG in the last seven games. During that stretch, she has collected 15 or more rebounds in six of the seven matches. Reese managed 17 boards in the last battle against the Lynx. The recent form dictates that going for “Over” is recommended here.

Angel Reese Rebounds Over 12.5 for -145 at BetMGM

WNBA Player Props Pick #3- Kayla McBride- Three-Pointers

McBride is going through another rough patch right now. The sharpshooter averages 2.5 made three-pointers per game on 6.6 attempts (37.5%). It is a slight dip from last season when she nailed 2.7 triples a game on similar attempts (40.7%).

Lately, she can’t buy a bucket. During the last five games, she has made 1.6 threes a game on a sub-par 27.5% clip. She hasn’t converted more than 2 long-range bombs in that stretch. But I expect her to break the funk in this contest. Thus, I will take “Over” for the 3-pointers here.
