Caitlin Clark Player Props vs Atlanta Dream: CC recovery game?

The Friday Night action in the WNBA has the biggest draw in the town, Caitlin Clark! CC returned in the last game against the Golden State Valkyries. The return was rather underwhelming as her Indiana Fever (9-10) lost 61-80 in another sub-par performance.

Clark contributed 10 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds in another undercooked performance. The Fever superstar is having a rough season thus far. Can she recover from her woes as the Fever takes on the Atlanta Dream?

Either the league has figured out how to guard CC, or she is struggling with her groin. Or maybe it is one of the familiar struggles every professional athlete goes through. Clark is 17/59 over the last four games.

Her 3/28 performance from the three-point line in these games has been awful, too. As a result, her averages are down to 17.4 PPG compared to 19.2 last season. Her FG% is down from 41.7% to 38.6% clip.

Her three-pointers are down from 3.1 to 2.5/game (34.4% last season, 30.1% now). The trends are concerning, but I see her bouncing back here and will opt to go “Over” on both points and three-pointers.

While her scoring is down, CC has continued to be a major playmaking presence. She dished 6 in the last game, but has had 9 or more helpers in seven of her 10 appearances. Thus, I expect her to go “over” the mark here in terms of assists. Her assists numbers are up from 8.4 to 8.6 APG this season.

On the other hand, Clark has been a decent rebounder, too. Remember, she had a triple-double to begin the season. CC has pulled down 5 or more boards in six of the ten games. However, I’d rather put a stake on rebounds either way.
