WNBA Injury Report Phoenix Mercury vs. Dallas Wings: Paige Bueckers Set for Surprise Return? Full Fitness Update Here!

Dallas eye redemption as Mercury battle fitness crisis ahead of Wednesday clash

Phoenix Mercury and Dallas Wings have had contrasting starts to the WNBA season so far. Mercury on one hand are placed at the fourth position with six wins to their name. Meanwhile, the Wings sit at the bottom of the table with only one win.

Despite the consistent shortcomings from the Wings’ side, head coach Chris Koclanes has suggested that his side has no ceiling when it comes to potential. He feels that the Wings have lacked chemistry on the court and consistency throughout the 40 minutes.

Once that is set in, Dallas Wings could turn around their season. One major reason for the Wings’ slump has been the absence of rookie star Paige Bueckers. She was on course to break multiple rookie records until she suffered a concussion.

Phoenix Mercury, coming off a loss to the Seattle Storm, will look to get back to winning ways. Storm won the game by 89-77. Mercury’s Satou Sabally was the only player going at the Seattle defense. She finished the game with 22 points on Saturday.

I cover NBA at the Playoffs. I specialize in covering breaking news, Previews, in in-depth analysis (breaking down numbers, complex stats, nuances of the game, and converting them into reader-friendly content). Furthermore, I got into the sports media while looking for an entry into the media industry. I love International Relations, and since entry without majoring in the subject was difficult, I got into sports. Now, while majoring in International Relations on one side, I also like covering sports as part of the journey as a young Journalist.
