WNBA Injury Report Connecticut Sun vs. Dallas Wings: Injury Concerns Loom Large, Big Names Missing

Redemption clash after Atlanta hammering, Both teams seek a fresh start

The Connecticut Sun are all set to host the Dallas Wings in a clash of redemption in the WNBA on Tuesday. The two teams are struggling to find form and have had a poor start to the season so far.

The Dallas Wings continue to spiral, now enduring a fourth straight loss with no signs of turning it around. The lack of team chemistry is obvious in their disjointed performances. And their recent clash against the Atlanta Dream was no different.

Dallas Wings’ rookie Paige Bueckers also went cold against the Atlanta Dream. The hosts had a strong start and kept making buckets. They finally shipped out a large chunk of their starters in the end which enabled Wings to go on a scoring run. This brought Wings’ score to 75 against Dream’s 83.

The Connecticut Sun, too, enter this matchup on the back of a heavy defeat. They too were done by the Atlanta Dream but on Sunday. Despite their opponents having back-to-back games, Connecticut Sun couldn’t manage to take advantage of the fatigue issues.

Barring the second quarter, Sun massively trailed all other quarters. The Sun collapsed in the fourth, managing just seven points, their lowest in a single quarter this season. As a result of that, Atlanta Dream beat them by a large margin of 79-55.
