The WNBA Sunday bonanza is as good as it gets. Four games featuring defending champions, the New York Liberty, their 2024 co-finalists, the Minnesota Lynx, and the exciting Seattle Storm.
There are a lot of lucrative picks out there, but which Same Game parlay has the highest chance of landing? Here is a look based on the picks on the active WNBA betting platform, BetMGM.
Pick #1: New York Liberty vs Connecticut Sun: Spread: Sun +18.5 (-115 Straight)
The Sun will come into the game after acquiring their first win of the season with an 85-83 triumph against the Caitlin Clark-less Indiana Fever. They handsomely covered the spread of +12.5. However, the Liberty is a different beast.
They have won 6 of their 6 games, and three of their wins have been by 18 or more points. Thus, the bookmakers are confident that they will stamp home another such win over the 1-5 Sun. On the contrary, I see Connecticut at least covering the spread of around 18 points here.
Pick #2: Phoenix Mercury vs Los Angeles Sparks: Total U 160.5 (-115 Straight)
The Sparks have been a mixed bag on the offensive end, as their third option, Rickea Jackson, underperformed in the first two games and is now injured. Kelsey Plum has been at her best with an average of 24 Points per game. But overall, the LA Sparks have run into a mountain of trouble.
On the other hand, Mercury’s offense will be in tatters without their main playmaker, Alyssa Thomas. There is a high chance they struggled, even hitting the 80-point mark. Thus, I see the total going “Under” here.
NBA SGP: Liberty vs Sun- Spread: Sun +18.5 and Mercury vs Sparks Total U 160.5: +256 at BetMGM
This NBA SGP just has two picks. Going for three picks is so risky in the WNBA setting, where scores fluctuate way more than in the NBA. Betting on the total is thus a tough endeavor.
However, I have carefully crafted the scenarios here and believe this SGP will land. I believe the Connecticut Sun will capitalize on their measly momentum, and the Mercury-Sparks affair will be a grinding one.

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
