The Angel Reese-Caitlin Clark wasn’t a big highlight in this exciting WNBA season. They only met once, way back in June, and then the injuries kept them both at bay.
The Indiana Fever (17-14) will meet the Chicago Sky (8-22) for the last time this season. This has been lopsided with or without Reese/Clark. Fever has brushed aside Sky by 14+ points in all the meetings.
They are desperate for a win after a two-game losing streak, and this is an excellent opportunity. Meanwhile, the Sky will look to craft an upset. Here is my favorite Same Game Parlay for the matchup.
Boston has been a genius in rebounds this season. She has collected 8.4 rebounds per game, placing her in the top five. The center has at least grabbed 9 rebounds in eight straight games, including six double-doubles.
The Sky misses a ton of shots, so Boston could be up for another double-digit rebounding night.
Boston O 8.5 Rebounds
Howard has been a strong scoring presence for the Fever. She is averaging 11.6 PPG on an excellent 55.3% shooting.
The PF had just 7 points in the last game but had registered 10+ in three straight games before that. I see Howard putting up at least 11 here.
Howard O 10.5 Points
| Picks | BetMGM Odds |
| Boston O 8.5 Rebounds | -120 |
| Howard O 10.5 Points | Undefined (Projected -120) |
| Cunningham O 1.5 3-Pointers | -110 |
| Spread: Fever -10.5 | -110 |
Cunningham has been in terrific form these days. She is averaging 8.4 PPG but has accumulated 12.3 PPG in the last 12 games.
During the stretch, she has knocked down 31 triples (2.5/game). The Fever “3 and D” guard has nailed at least 2 in 9 of the last 12 games. I expect her to convert at least 2 here.
Cunningham O 1.5 3-Pointers
WNBA SGP: Boston O 8.5 Rebounds, Howard O 10.5 Points, Cunningham O 1.5 3-Pointers for +240 at BetMGM
The Fever has been dominant against the Sky these days. Meanwhile, the Sky has been in tatters, especially in the absence of Angel Reese.
The Fever has lost Aari McDonald for the season, and now Lexie Hull will have to step up her game.
Overall, the Sky is too short-handed to win against the Fever away from home, and the hosts are probably going to cover the spread.
Fever vs Sky Spread: Fever -10.5 for -110 at BetMGM

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
