The 2025 WNBA season has been a treasure trove of the rise and fall of squads. While the Phoenix Mercury has risen, the Chicago Sky has been doing even worse than last season.
On the other hand, the 2024 finalists Minnesota Lynx, have unfinished business, while the LA Sparks have looked like an unfinished project. As these teams clash on the double-header day, here are my picks for the best WNBA parlays based on BetMGM.
The Sky will enter the game after a 7-point loss against the Washington Mystics despite an 18-point performance by Kamilla Cardoso. It was their fourth loss in five games, and Chicago has fallen to 3-8.
The Sky commit the most turnovers (17.3 TOPG) and have one of the worst defenses, too. They are yet to win a game against a team that has won more than 33% of their games!
On the other hand, Mercury is winning at a high clip. They will enter the game after an 8-point win against the New York Liberty, as rookie Monique Akoa Makani scored 21 points. It was their fourth straight win, propelled by the return of superstar Alyssa Thomas.
The Mercury will clearly enter as the favorites, but I feel the Sky will somehow cover the spread of around 10 points.
Spread: Chicago Sky +10.5 (-110 Straight)
The Lynx are on the summit again. They will enter the game after a remarkable 76-62 win against the Las Vegas Aces, as Courtney Williams rose for 20 points. They have lost only one game and won 11, the best record in the league.

On the other hand, the Sparks are undercooking their gravy. They enter after an embarrassing 29-point loss against the Seattle Storm, their third defeat in four games. LA’s locker room has rung alarm bells, and despite having some great individual talent, they have been unable to win as a team.
The Lynx won their last battle against the Sparks by 23 points, so I am comfortable in believing them to cover the double-digit spread.
Spread: Minnesota Lynx -9.5 (-110 Straight)
Parlays: Sky +10.5 and Lynx -9.5 for +264 at BetMGM
The Player Props are out now, and there are some interesting picks. I’ll turn the attention to the Sky vs Mercury battle, and would select Angel Reese to go over the 12.5 points mark.
She has averaged 11 PPG and has scored 12 or more in three of the four games. I believe she’ll go “over” the projected mark here.
