Caitlin Clark’s status remains the biggest question as they prepare to face the Las Vegas Aces
The Indiana Fever are ready to host the Las Vegas Aces at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in front of their home fans. The Fever are returning to action after spending a brilliant first part of this week in celebrations in their home city.
Stephanie White’s team secured their maiden WNBA Commissioner’s Cup title with a win over the Minnesota Lynx. Despite playing at the away court, Fever put up a dominant performance. Moreover, this was without the presence of their star player Caitlin Clark.

Caitlin Clark has now missed a couple of games due to a groin injury. It’s a setback for the 23-year-old, who had only recently returned from a quad injury. Additionally, Clark’s sophomore campaign on the court has been anything but smooth.
The groin injury remains serious and Clark hasn’t recovered fully from it. Hence, she will be missing action on Thursday against the Aces. Fever coach Stephanie White initially labeled the injury as day-to-day, implying it wasn’t a major concern.
However, Caitlin Clark missing back-to-back games again paints a more concerning picture. In the absence of their star player, the Indiana Fever will need to produce another stellar performance akin to Tuesday. The Fever proved they can deliver even without their centerpiece in high-stakes matchups.
